Amitha was one among the 150 women entrepreneurs shortlisted from 8000 applicants for the 2017 Homepreneur Awards held at Chennai.The event was first of its kind to felicitate women entrepreneurs working from home.

Martha Farrell Award, Delhi:

Amitha was shortlisted in 2018 for empowering women through the saree kuchu workshops.

The Pride of Workmanship Award, Bangalore:

Amitha was shortlisted by Rotary Club in 2019 for her finest handcrafted saree kuchu tassel work.

An article featuring our student Asha Dhananjay's saree tasselling experience was published in the Prajavani news paper.

We are proud of Asha and many other women who have set up their own saree kuchu boutiques after learning this tradtional craft through regular workshops conducted at Krishne.
